DR. ALAIN L. FYMAT is a medical-physical scientist and an educator. He is the current President/ CEO and Institute Professor at the International Institute of Medicine & Science with a previous appointment as Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer and Professor at the Weil Institute of Critical Care Medicine, California, U.S.A. He was formerly Professor of Radiology, Radiological Sciences, Radiation Oncology, Critical Care Medicine, and Physics at several U.S. and European Universities. Earlier, he was Deputy Director (Western Region) of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (Office of Research Oversight). At the Loma Linda Veterans Affairs Medical Center, he was Scientific Director of Radiology, Director of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Center and, for a time, Acting Chair of Radiology. Previously, he was Director of the Division of Biomedical and Biobehavioral Research at the University of California at Los Angeles/Drew University of Medicine and Science. He was also Scientific Advisor to the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, National Research Council, for its postdoctoral programs tenable at the California Institute of Technology and Member of the Advisory Group for Research & Development, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). He is Health Advisor to the American Heart & Stroke Association, Coachella Valley Division, California. He is a frequent Keynote Speaker and Organizing Committee member at several international scientific/medical conferences. He has lectured extensively in the U.S.A, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Africa. He has published in excess of 500 scholarly scientific publications and books. He is also Editor-in-Chief, Honorable Editor or Editor of numerous medical/scientific Journals to which he regularly contributes. He is a member of the New York Academy of Sciences and the European Union Academy of Sciences, a Board member of several institutions, and a reviewer for the prestigious UNESCO Newton Prize, United Kingdom National Commission for UNESCO.

Dr. Fymat's current research interests are focused on neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, dementias, epilepsy, and others), oncology (glioblastoma), epigenetics & ecogenetics, and nanomedicine & nanobiotechnology. Prof. Radu Mutihac is Chair of Medical Physics Section, University of Bucharest, and works in Neuroscience, Signal Processing, Microelectronics, and Artificial Intelligence. As postdoc/research associate/visiting professor/full professor he has run his research at the University of Bucharest, International Centre for Theoretical Physics (Italy), Ecole Polytechnique (France), Institut Henri Poincaré (France), KU Leuven (Belgium). Data mining and exploratory analysis of neuroimaging time series were addressed during two Fulbright Grants in Neuroscience (Yale University, CT, and University of New Mexico, NM, USA). His research in fused biomedical imaging modalities was carried out at the Johns Hopkins University, National Institutes of Health, and Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, MD, USA. Since 2008, Prof. Mutihac has been nominated PhD student supervisor in the field of Physics at the University of Bucharest, Romania. Segundo Mesa Castillo a specialist in Neurology, he worked for 10 years in the Institute of Neurology of Havana, Cuba. He has worked in Electron Microscopic Studies on Schizophrenia for 32 years. Rodney O. Leacock, M.D., neurointensivist at Palmetto Health Neurosurgery Associates, is board certified in neurology, neurocritical care and vascular neurology. Leacock received his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. and completed his neurology residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He went on to complete a fellowship in neurocritical care at Wayne State University, Detroit Receiving Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and a stroke fellowship at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, Missouri. His clinical interests include acute ischemic stroke, intracranial and subarachnoid hemorrhage, status epilepticus, and airway protection in patients with neurological disorders. Dr. Anirban Biswas practices in therapeutic and diagnostic neurotology in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He was the PRESIDENT of the ASSOCIATION OF OTOLARYNGOLOGISTS of INDIA for the year 2010-2011 and the PRESIDENT of the NEUROTOLOGICAL and EQUILIBRIOMETRIC SOCIETY of India from 1999 to 2001.
