Prof. Radu Mutihac is Chair of Medical Physics Section, University of Bucharest, and works in Neuroscience, Signal Processing, Microelectronics, and Artificial Intelligence. As postdoc/research associate/visiting professor/full professor he has run his research at the University of Bucharest, International Centre for Theoretical Physics (Italy), Ecole Polytechnique (France), Institut Henri PoincarÃ© (France), KU Leuven (Belgium). Data mining and exploratory analysis of neuroimaging time series were addressed during two Fulbright Grants in Neuroscience (Yale University, CT, and University of New Mexico, NM, USA). His research in fused biomedical imaging modalities was carried out at the Johns Hopkins University, National Institutes of Health, and Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, MD, USA. Since 2008, Prof. Mutihac has been nominated PhD student supervisor in the field of Physics at the University of Bucharest, Romania. Dr Rodney Leacock(Biography)
Rodney O. Leacock, M.D., neurointensivist at Palmetto Health Neurosurgery Associates, is board certified in neurology, neurocritical care and vascular neurology. Leacock received his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. and completed his neurology residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He went on to complete a fellowship in neurocritical care at Wayne State University, Detroit Receiving Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and a stroke fellowship at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, Missouri. Dr. Photios Anninos received his BS in Physics from the University of Athens1960), Greece, his MSC in high energy physics from Syracuse University (1966) and a PhD in Medical Physics from Syracuse University, USA(1969). Dr.Anninos then undertook Post Doctoral training in Anatomy and brain Research Institute at the University of California, LA, USA.He then became Assistant Professor of Biomathematics and Research Anatomist In the School of Medicine, University of California, LA, USA. Dr. Anninos then became Assistant Professor of Physics in Concordia University of Montreal, P.Q. Canada and Associate Professor of Physics at the same University in Canada. He then moved to Greece and became Associate Professor of Neurology and Full professor of medical physics in Democritus University of Thrace Alexandroupolis, Greece. Dr. Anirban Biswas practices in therapeutic and diagnostic neurotology in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He was the PRESIDENT of the ASSOCIATION OF OTOLARYNGOLOGISTS of INDIA for the year 2010-2011 and the PRESIDENT of the NEUROTOLOGICAL and EQUILIBRIOMETRIC SOCIETY of India from 1999 to 2001. Dr Anirban Biswas was the EDITOR of the Indian Journal of Otolaryngology & Head and Neck Surgery (2000-2005) . He was the VICE PRESIDENT of the International Neurotological and Equilibriometric Society and the PRESIDENT of the Indian Academy of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. Currently, he is the editor of the Annals of Otology and Neurotology which is the official scientific journal of the Indian Society of Otology (ISO). Dr. Anirban Biswas has authored a number of books on the diagnosis and management of vertigo and deafness for postgraduate students and practitioners in ENT and Neurology.
